THE STEM WOMAN PROJECT
Inspired by SDGS 4 and 5, The STEM Woman Project is an empowerment initiative designed to travel across Ghana, using a plethora of tools to inspire, engage, empower and encourage young women who are considering a career in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to do so. The tools are simple and exciting and they include: • Workshop and Training sessions with STEM Industry Leaders • Social and Traditional Media Awareness Campaigns • Mentorships, Internships and Job Opportunity Initiatives for STEM Graduates / Start Ups The STEM Woman Project will offer a leading platform to evaluate how all education providers and employers can work effectively to enhance the participation, recruitment and advancement of Women in STEM. Participants will gain the latest best practice insights from practitioners and policy experts in enhancing diversity in STEM industries, supporting pipeline progression and ensuring improved uptake of girls and women entering STEM education and careers.
NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS
National Communication Awards is a development communications awards program developed by RAD Communications Limited to champion communications, organizational and national development. The event will celebrate and reward excellent communication companies, teams and individuals across Ghana.
